THQ kündigt Frontlines: Fuel of War an!

Wie THQ bekannt gab, befindet sich bei den Kaos Studios ein neuer Ableger der Frontlines-Serie in Entwicklung, welcher unter dem Titel Frontlines: Fuel of War für Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 und PC im Herbst 2007 erscheinen soll. Das Setting von Fuel of War liegt in der nahen Zukunft, wo die Kontrolle über die Fossilen-Ressourcen über Gedeih und Verderb einer Zivilisation entscheidet.

Schauplatz ist eine offene Welt, in welcher ihr Infantrie- und Fahrzeug-basierte (über 60 Vehikel) Ego-Shooter Gefechte austragen könnt - wahlweise auf der Seite der Westlichen Koalition (USA/Europa) oder auf der Seite der Roten Stern Allianz (Russland / China). Für den Singleplayer-Modus versprechen die Entwickler eine umfassende Storyline, in welcher ihr Missionen auf Basis von nonlinearem Gameplay absolviert. THQ veröffentlicht bisher einen Screenshot zum Spiel - zur E3 werden wohl einige weitere folgen:
